Fortean, Synchromysticism, Cryptids, UFOs in the fringe. . .
Mmm..I dunno, I can't think of a more appropriate tag to use to describe the 'shooter' in this strange story except, 'dumb ass.'It is almost hard to believe that there are people out there that think and act like this, but unfortunately I know at least a couple that do. Though the story is suspect for veracity, the best part is that dumb ass's quarry appears to have 'disappeared' on him. Poof...it's rare to see an anecdote on Coleman's site that allows for the paranormal, isn't it?So, what age are we living in here Regan? Is it 150 or 200 years ago, when ship captains, explorers routinely 'collected' speciman birds by clubbing and shooting them? I always like to think of how things like this will play out in the future. If we accept that humans might evolve toward ever higher levels of understanding about the world around us, including compassion for all life, how could the future include the killing of what strongly appears, at least, to be an intelligent bipedal human ancestor? Why can't we skip ahead in our thinking and just allow the mystery to play out without a corpse to dissect? Is it really that important to force death into the equation. Good God, some of us are terrible fucking heathens, aren't we?Ok, I'm done.
